To avoid any glancing blows and strikes directly to the face, our sparring helmets feature a dense shock absorbing foam core covered with faux leather exterior and also offers ventilation so you keep your cool, even in the longest bouts. The adjustable straps and velcro fastener ensure maximum comfort and a snug fit.

"This is a decent helmet. I was unaware that the face shield is permanently attached, but that isn't really a problem, it seems like it is well made and should function fine. The only problem I had is that I paid A LOT extra for the 1 day shipping on a Thursday morning because I needed it for Saturday and it did not arrive until Monday night. So if you need an item quickly be aware that the carrier this merchant ships with does not do 1 day shipping in 1 day."
